Over 70% of consumers base their purchasing decisions on packaging design. Our task was to ensure that Juice Point’s new brand and packaging exceeded this expectation. We aimed to create a visually striking and memorable design that captures consumer attention and stands out on shelves. By developing a brand identity that reflects Juice Point’s values and appeals to its target audience, we focused on quality, freshness, and uniqueness. This approach ensures that Juice Point not only attracts attention but also resonates with consumers, enhancing its success in a competitive market.
Objective
Develop a brand and packaging design that stands out prominently on shelves and entices consumers to pick it up for a closer look. The design should be visually striking and unique, ensuring that it captures attention in a crowded market.
Additionally, the packaging must clearly communicate the drink’s health benefits through straightforward and compelling messaging. This will allow customers to quickly understand the product’s nutritional value and natural ingredients at a glance, without needing to examine it further. By combining an attention-grabbing design with clear, informative messaging, the packaging will both attract and inform consumers, driving their interest and facilitating confident purchase decisions.
Execution
By employing vibrant gradient colors and contour line drawings, Juice Point’s brand and packaging effectively captured consumer attention both on store shelves and online. The use of these eye-catching design elements ensured that Juice Point stood out among other beverages, making a strong visual impression.
In addition to its striking appearance, the packaging prominently communicated the health benefits of the juices, though this was an added bonus rather than the primary focus. The combination of bold design and clear messaging not only drew consumers in but also highlighted the product’s nutritional value, enhancing its appeal and reinforcing its position in the market.
